Relay Perc 2 manual
last update: 22 Feb 2026
This module is mainly designed to be a controller, but it can also make a base kick like sound.
The Relay perc 2 is a simple module, it has a audio output for the relay that amplifies the sound of the relay via a piezo.
The bottom 3 connect to the relay and can be used to switch a signal, the switch type is SPDT.
Specifications:
- Module width: 20mm (4hp), power consumption: +35mA -4mA.
- Gate input to opperate the relay.
- Audio out with volume adjust via potmeter about 10v pp.
- bidirectional SPDT switch; CO = common, NC = normally closed, NO = normally open.
Assembling:
Instructions for helping the assembly process.
- Solder the IDC 2x5 header pin connector for power.
- Stick the piezo onto the foam tape on the relay.
- Cut off the sides of the piezo so it dost stick out to much.
- (optional) spray paint the piezo.
- Solder the relay onto the PCB (make sure its the correct side, it should be on the side where the SMT components are, look at the image to check)
- Cut the wires of the piezo to the correct length and solder them to the PCB.
- Cut the little annoying flap of the potmeter.
- Put all components into the PCB, 1x LED, 5x jacks, 1x pot.
- Put the font pannel on, mount all the nuts and solder.
- Check if the volume is correct, if is to low, you can solder a 10k resistor into the "?r" resistor place (next to the GND connection of the piezo wire).
